The sportsworld is changing. It becomes more individual and diverse. It can be supported by sensors and happens more and more in the public space. We’re organizing a small online hackathon this Saturday (29th). It will be an experiment to make remote hackathons fun and social and we would love for you to join us. We promise virtual pizza 🍕. We’ll kick off at 14.00 and finish 22.00 Stockholm (GMT+1) time. The challenge will be on the sillier side and you can use any technology. Designers are also welcome. Look forward to a fun time of hacking, random surprises, and maybe even real pizza.

A 24 hour hackathon on September 29 & 30 at the Autonomous University of La Laguna where high school and university students will compete solving challenges with innovative ideas to win gadgets and passes to other hackathons

Do you love dogs? Do you love data? Do you love R? Then this is the perfect event for you. R ladies London is running a full day hackathon together with Dogs Trust. We will explore data provided by the charity, as well as public data, to help Dogs Trust learn from their data. Questions that we will try to answer include: Can we apply machine learning, to successfully classify visual images of 30 different dog  breeds? Are particular breeds more likely to be rehomed in particular areas? Historically, are breed popularity trends seen across the whole of the UK, or do specific areas show unique trends? Are rehoming rates influenced by breed appearances on film or TV? Join us for a day of data analysis and fun. Nine out of ten people are estimated to breathe air containing high levels of pollutants, causing around 7 million deaths every year. More than 90% of these deaths occur in the developing world. Many of these areas have no surface air-quality monitoring networks and rely mainly on modelling and satellite information. Besides air pollution, there are other aspects of atmospheric composition that can affect health, eg UV radiation, which strongly depends on the stratospheric ozone layer.

CESGAHACK 3 will once again bring together 6 teams from around the world to meet for 5 days, aiming to accelerate their applications. The goal of this hackathon is to accelerate the execution of applications. If your development team has little or no experience of parallel programming, then CESGAHACK3 is for you. During the week the event is structured to ensure that the majority of the time is spent working on your own code, with the assistance of expert mentors.

Within 24 hours, students and professionals in law, technology, design and entrepreneurship will work together in teams to find solutions to legal sector challenges, combining law and technology. The solutions are presented to a jury who will award the best contributions. 21. – 22. of September Oslo Legal Hackathon (OLH) will be hosted for the first time, in collaboration with organizations and some of the largest law firms in Norway. This event is part of Oslo Innovation Week 2018.
